Kenyans Angry As Kenya 7s Cry Out To Kenyans For Help After Missing Their Pay For 3 Months

It is a sad day for Rugby lovers after reports emerged that the Kenya 7s National team has not been paid for the past three months despite their efforts to keep the country on record in international games. According to a report by one of coaches of the team the players have been paying bills using their personal savings and many have found themselves with huge debts.

They even have a competition to attend to abroad but since they have no money they are not sure if they will attend despite training vigorously for the games. The coach has now turned to Kenyans asking for a helping hand to support the team achieve its goals and represent the country in sports.

Willy Ambaka in a series of tweets on Sunday said that they were really in need and want Kenyans to raise some money to support them.

"Our desperate situation has now forced us to turn to you, our global community to help us in raising funds. The money raised will be split among the boys to help settle some of our pending bills - We need your assistance.

"To make your contribution, kindly click on the link below to access the Kenya 7s M-Changa fund raiser or send your contribution to:

*M-PESA Paybill no: 891300*

Kenyans have moved in to help the team raise the funds with the government receiving criticism. Sports cabinet secretary Ababu Namwamba has been asked to take care of the matter as fast as possible. Follow the page for more news updates daily.
