Ronaldo bleeds, nose broken as Portugal takes on Czech Republic in UEFA Nations League match

The European Nations League football match between Portugal and Czech Republic turned ugly after a number of players sustaining bloody injuries. The first player to get injured was Portugal's foward who was also doubling up as the captain, Christiano Ronaldo.

Christiano Ronaldo sustained serious nose injuries after an arieal tackle with Czech Republic goal keeper. Ronaldo was quickly helped and he resumed the game with a bandage on his nosal bone.

Minutes later, Czech Republic foward also sustained serious hand injuries as he was steeped in by a Portugal defender. The foward was bleeding profusely on the hand, forcing him to finish the game with a huge bandage around the hand.

Other than those, the exciting moments of the match were when Dalot netted Portugal's first goal. Bruno Fernandes netted the second goal for Portugal. Christiano Ronaldo cost his team a penalty kick, just minutes to the half time break. Luckily, Czech Republic missed the penalty kick. Dalot scored Portugals third goal just after half time break. By the time of publication of this article, Portugal was leading with three goals to bill.
