Football Kenya federation caretaker committee through chairperson retired justice Aaron Ringera,has suspended all the top tier football leagues in the country in their first address since taking over from football activities.
The caretaker committee held its first meeting and agreed to suspend five top leagues in the country for a period of two weeks.
The statement further stated that the decision was reached upon in order to ensure regularisation of the league activities across the country.
They include,FKF premier league,FKF national super league,FKF division one,FKF women premier league and FKF women division one league.
The committee further stated that it will be engaging with clubs and other football stakeholders in due course.
Leagues running under the branches and sub branches will not be affected by the directives and shall continue as planned.
The committee further assured members of the public that, there will be smooth operation of all football activities across the country.
