Barely a week after Francis Kahata's move to Ethiopian club Sidama coffee FC, his stars counterpart John Avire has bagged a deal with Egyptian Premier League club Misr Lel Makasa SC.John Avire is expected to remain at the club for the next two years, the period which his deal will be expected to last.
Avire is 24 years old and plays as a striker.Locally, he has had stints with some good Kenyan clubs like Kakamega Homeboyz, Nakumatt, Bandari and Sofapaka between 2017 and 2019 before launching his international career with another Egyptian club Aswan SC in 2019.
With the national team Harambee Stars, Avire has had only 3 appearances from 2019.He is one of the players who have had constant exclusion from the national team alongside other great footballers like Johanna Omollo, Ayub Timbe and Victor Wanyama.
