Lacazette contract extension is unsettled. According to Mikel Arteta's interview with Sky Sports about Lacazette's contract extension, the matter is still pending and they haven't reached an agreement. Mikel Arteta further revealed that their is an intention to extend Lacazette's contract.
"It's the situation that we have, whether we are concerned or not, things have happened in the last few seasons for different players but those possibilities are there and some next clubs have more control and some players have more control. But the important thing is that communication is clear and the intentions of both parties are very clear." Said Mikel Arteta while addressing the issue.
Alexander Lacazette is among the players whose contact is coming to the end but they are still critical part of the team. The Frenchman's experience of scoring goals is highly needed by the Gunners. His exit might paralyze Arsenal's forward hence Mikel Arteta need to retian him in the squad.
Mikel Arteta should hurry to extend the Frenchman's contract.
