The 2022/23 Europa league playoffs continue with European giants like Manchester United,Juventus and Arsenal in the mix. United qualified for the round of 16 after a stunning comeback against Barcelona at Old Trafford,while Juventus thrashed Nantes courtesy of Di Maria's hattrick.
The teams like Real Betis, Arsenal and Real Sociedad had already booked a spot in the round of 16 by topping their respective groups.The draw have taken place,which featured eight group winners who were the seeded teams and right knockout round playoffs winners who were the unseeded teams. United will face Spanish team for the third time this season (Rea Betis) whereas league rivals Arsenal has been drawn against Portuguese ace Sporting Lisbon.
The Gunners are seeking for their first major European trophy,while United will be aiming to win their second Europa league title since 2017. At this stage teams from the same domestic league can't be drawn against each other. The first leg fixtures has been scheduled on March 9 while return leg will be played a week later on 16.
