Nairobi county has the largest number of stadiums in the country. Nyanyo stadium and the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium are the big names in this county. Ruaraka stadium and Nairobi City stadium are also the other stadiums known by many.
Not known by many,Dandora stadium is a real definition of beauty. The stadium located in Dandora in Embakasi North constituency,a distance of 15.8km from Nairobi CBD. This is a just a 36minutes drive.
The stadium was built by the Nairobi county government at a cost of 350 million Kenyan Shillings. The stadium will be the first in East Africa to display electronic advertising board.
The stadium upon it's completion will contain a reception area and a dressing room consisting of shower rooms,urinals and toilets. The stadium is also divided into terraces,VIP and VVIP sections with CCTV cameras installed in each section.
