
On Sunday, October, 16, Liverpool hosted the citizens, Manchester City at the Anfield Stadium for the Game Week 10 where Liverpool won by a 1-0 defeat against the Pep's boys and helped them secure three points in the game after a stunning finish by Mohamed Salah who was assisted by the goalkeeper Alison Becker.
Diogo Jota the Portugal International and Liverpool's forward was however not able to finish the game after he collected an injury in tbe second half. Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool's Manager has today confirmed via the BBC Sports that Diogo Jota will be out and won't also be able to play and participate in the World Cup competitions.
Related to this, Newcastle's forward Alexander Isak is also set to miss games and his return is uncertain also after he also did collect an injury a few weeks ago which also made him to miss their game against Manchester United on Sunday.
