Manchester United have not triggered a bid for Celtic’s rebel Josip Juranovic despite strong links between the right back and the Old Trafford owners. Reports from Scotland have revealed that the Croatian international is breathing heavily on his agent neck since he wants to complete a move to the Premier League and Manchester United is his preferred choice. Manchester United recently contacted his agent but the talks have ran cold for the past three days which suggests that the Red Devils have their eyes firm on another target.
Juranovic is desperate to leave Celtic this summer since he wants to play in a higher league that will put him right in the radar of Croatia’s head coach when he drafts his call up list. All Juranovic wants is to play for his country in the highly anticipated World Cup competitions.
Angel Di Maria
Juventus are close to completing the transfer of Angel Di Maria who will be a free agent in the next couple of days. Paris Saint Germaine decided against offering him a new contract last season and the after a mutual agreement, it was eventually decided that the player will leave the club. Barcelona were briefly linked with the attacker but since he has a history with Los Blancos, joining Barcelona would be one of the biggest upsets in Spain so he turned down the offer.
This transfer move now means that Juventus are open to selling Leonardo Bernadeschi in the summer, a player who has been in the radar of Manchester United for quite a while now. Ten Hag is equally delighted about the player’s skills on the pitch and could be willing to give him a chance next season at the Old Trafford.
