Arsenal visited London Stadium to take on foes Westham United in a fiercely contested Premier League clash. Arsenal suffered a last minute injury blow which saw Ben White miss the match but was replaced by Rob Holding who partnered with Gabriel, Tavares and Takehiro Tomiyasu. Arsenal dominated the ball possession in the first half and opened the scores in the 38th minute through Rob Holding who was assisted by Bukayo Saka. Westham United captilized on Arsenal defence lapse, errors and mistakes to equalize in the 45th minute through Bowen who was assisted by Coufal to force a 1-1 draw at halftime.

Arsenal fans were disgusted and disappointed by defender Nuno Tavares for making defensive blunders and mistakes leading to goals. Arsenal requested Arteta to sell Tavares next month and stop starting him in important matches as he will cost them the top 4 spots with his inconsistencies. Arsenal star Tavares was easily disposessed, made inaccurate passes and was poor with Aerial balls hence costing Arsenal a clean sheet against Westham United.
