Arsenal Player Who Is Slowly Becoming The New Mesut Ozil.

Mesut Ozil is mainly remembered by Arsenal fans due to his exceptional ability to provide his teammates with accurate defense splitting crosses, dribbles, scoring beautiful goals & creativity in the opponents final third.

However after the Germany playmaker left the Emirates stadium last season, the gunners have really struggled to create chances which had led them to struggle in their opening 2021/2022 PL fixtures where they lost their first 3 successive league assignments, but the introduction of young prospect Emile Smith Rowe in the playmaker role, Arsenal fortunes have drastically improved. They have won their last 4 matches in a row across all competitions, conceding only once & have kept 3 cleansheets which has also seen them climb to 10th position in the PL standings with 9 points, only 5 points adrift toppers Liverpool.

The 21 year old, was Sensational in the Gunners recent clash against bitter rivals Tottenham in the first North London derby of the season as he scored the first goal & provided an assist for Aubameyang to score the 2nd goal in their impressive 3-1 victory against the Nuno Espirito's side on Sunday. He has now notched in 2 goals & provided 1 assist in 7 appearances for the Mikel Arteta's side this campaign.

Just like Mesut Ozil, Smith Rowe is a natural attacking Midfielder who boosts exceptional technical ability, skills, scoring beautiful long range goals & has remarkable ability to provide his teammates with defense splitting crosses.

At Just 21 years of age, the new Arsenal number 10 has a long way to go to reach the heights of Ozil, but provided he continues to produce such excellent displays in the middle of the pack for the gunners, he could be the long term solution to their creativity department woes alongside fellow prospect Martin Odegaard.
