Former Juventus Gonzalo Higuain scored an equalizer as his side, Inter Miami extended their recent upturn in form following a 2-1 home win over Nashville in the MLS on Sunday.
Phile Neville's side has now taken eight points from their last four games, having been rooted to the bottom of the Eastern Conference after experiencing six defeats in a row.
Inter Miami went down in the early minutes of the second half after Nashville's Charles Sapong netted the first goal of the game. Miami, however, responded on the hour mark after former France international Blaise Matuidi played for Higuain who calmly collected the ball and slotted it home for an equalizer.
Inter dramatically grabbed all three points in the 95th minute when Gonzalo's brother Federico Higuain whipped a heavy cross for Indian Vassilev to head home.
Following the win, Inter moved out of the last spot in the east and settled on the 12th position.
