The Kenyan sport sector has been in darkness in the past few years. Specifically, the football and rugby sports in the country has been facing turbulence.
Recently, the Kenya rugby players left the netizens' tongues wagging after they revealed the disaster they are going through. The Kenyan national team rugby players noted that they haven't received any salary for over months.
This has prompted the players to create a mobile money account (Paybill account) that will help them receive fund donations from the concerned netizens. Perhaps this is not the best way to appreciate our patriots in the sporting sector, maybe the ministry of sports should stepup and save the rugby sport from the shame.

Meanwhile, the positive news on Kenyan sports is that the world's football controlling body (FIFA) has lifted the ban on Kenyan football organization. This came barely a few days after the sporting minister, Ababu Namwamba, had meetings with the FIFA president. This is a one positive step ahead in reviving Kenyan sports.
