Eden Hazard was Chelsea’s best player before he left for Real Madrid two years ago. The star used to win matches and title for the club and since he left the side has struggled to replace him, made great signings last summer but nine is getting closer to the level of the Belgium forward.
The Blues have good talented forwards who signed for the club in the summer but most of them have struggled especially for Timo Werner who was seen as the perfect replacement for Eden Hazard. Some of them have started showing signs of life but Mason Mount has been the man who has been stealing the show this season.
The English attacking midfielder is having his best season at the Bridge outperforming great players like Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner and he has been the favourite player for Tuchel in the last three months.
The star is an attacking midfielder but he can also play o the wings which give Tuchel a lot of options. He is the highest scorer under the German manager with 5 goals. Mount is the only player who can be reliable in the club like Hazard with new signs yet to adapt and have consistency.
Christian Pulisic has also been clinical but he gets injured more often and he can perform to his best when he is back from injury while Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz are making good progress and we could have to wait until next season to see how they will be.
