Paris Saint Germain (PSG) beat Manchester City by two goals to nil in a much anticipated match at the Parc De Princes on Tuesday night. The highflatun game saw the PSG's new signing Leo Messi score a wonderful goal to end his five game drought. The diminutive Argentine played a one-two with his French counterpart Kylian Mbappe to score the Parisian side's second goal after Idrissa Gana Gueye found the net in the opening minutes of the game. Pep Guadiola's side had many chances which they failed to convert.Image: courtesy
One of the highlights of the game was Messi's decision to lie down to defend a freekick. This was a very unusual move by the talisman. The position was designed by defenders to try to stop his cheeky freekicks which normally went under the wall and found the back of the net. The action really amazed the football fans who took to social media to laud him for his humility and commitment to see his team win.Image: courtesy
