It is no secret that Arsenal is looking for a creative midfielder. This is evidenced by their pursuit of some of the most talented midfielders. Martin Odergaard, who spent part of last season on loan at Arsenal, is set to return to Real Madrid. While some may argue that his departure provides an opportunity for Emil Smith Rowe to shine, it is clear that Arteta does not want to put all of his eggs in one basket.
The search for a creative midfielder has begun, but it has so far yielded no results. Norwich's Emiliano Buendia and Leicester's James Maddison have been their top targets in that position. Arsenal fans are waiting to see if an official move for James Maddison will materialize after Aston Villa beat Arsenal to the signing of Emiliano Buendia.
James Maddison is valued at £ 60 million in the transfer market, and many Arsenal fans believe Maddison will join the club if Arteta and Edu can find a way to make a bid in the £ 60 million range.
The belief that Maddison is interested in a move to Arsenal was bolstered a few days ago when Maddison was seen wearing Arsenal's colors, a white short with red stripes and a white boot with red stripes. The Instagram post, as seen below, piqued Arsenal fans' interest to the point where they flocked to the comments section to ask Maddison to join their club.
