Kenyan midfield maestro Harrison Mwendwa will join newly promoted Tanzanian side Diamond Trust Bank FC from Zambian super league side Kabwe Warriors. The Kenyan has had stints in Zambia but his stay in the south has come to an end.According to sports journalist Kevin Teya, Mwendwa will today join the side in undisclosed contract. The Kenyan International will join the likes of Joash Onyango and Kenneth Muguna who have been featuring in Tanzanian mainland league since last season.Another Kenyan linked with a move to Tanzanian side is Patrick Matasi who is being monitored by Azam FC.

Tanzanian mainland league is currently attracting big stars due to good management, better facilities as well as good pay for players. The league has many sponsors who have made sure players do not complain over payments. Many Kenyan players have been playing in Tanzanian mainland league rather than playing in the country as a result of the good payments. We wish Harrison Mwendwa all the best as he embarks on a new journey. For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner if you haven't done so to receive more news.
