Chelsea have finally released their official Starting XI squad to clear speculations & rumours that Odoi & Werner can not combine. Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel has retained Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy who has kept 9 Cleansheets in the Premier League alongside his favourite 3 defenders: Thiago Silva, Ruedigar & Cesar Azipilicueta. The midfield has ushered in Alonso & Reece James in the wings while Kovacic & Jorghino play a central role while Hudson Odoi & Mason Mount combine for the attack while Timo Werner will play the central forward role.
The Premier League table standings have radically changed in the recent past with Chelsea currently at position 8 with 33 points after leading in late November & early december. Chelsea have plenty of talent in the bench including Abraham, Giroud, Pulisic, Ziyech, Kante & Chillwell who can turn the game around for the blues. If Chelsea win against Tottenham tonight they will climb up to position 6 with 36 points while Tottenham will drop to 8th awaiting Westbrom fixture on Sunday.
