Manchester United were held to a 0-0 draw by Leeds United on match day 33 of the 2020/2021 season.
The Red Devils were eager to score goals and narrow the gap between them and Manchester City with less than five games remaining till the season is over.
United showed their prowess all through the game, but the Leeds United players fouled and kept off the Red's players as they were getting in danger areas.
There is one point in the match where Marcus Rashford opened up the Leeds United defense with a brilliant through ball finding Bruno Fernandez and Daniel James in open space.
However, Daniel James hurriedly drifted the ball away from Bruno Fernandez who was clearly one on one with the goalkeeper which left him very furious.
This brilliant wasted chance got Manchester United on the bad side as Leeds went ahead to defend well and earned a point from the match.
Even though the game ended in a disappointing draw, the second position is well secured for Manchester United who will be preparing to face Liverpool on the next fixture.
