Arsenal are looking for a reliable holding midfielder and, according to reports, they are about to sign their own Paul Pogba in the form of Ecudorian international Moses Caicedo.
FFC claim the Gunners are genuinely interested in signing Caicedo from Brighton.
With only 10 appearances for Brighton's senior side (8 last season), the midfielder is developing into a powerhouse.
Already this season, Whoscored (as cited by FFC) ranks the 20-year-old as Brighton's second-most impressive player after Welbeck. Caicedo has already made eight tackles, five interceptions, and four key passes in two league starts this season. The youngster has effortlessly filled the gap left by Yves Bissouma.
"Caicedo really has everything to become the best Ecuadorian footballer of all time."
"I think that off the ball, he is indeed somewhat reminiscent of Kante, but on the ball, he resembles Paul Pogba with his flair and his technique," said Enrico Castro-Montes as per SPORT WITNESS.
