The Dutch National team is the first national team to qualify for the quarter finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup tournament. This is after the Netherlands kicked out the United states of America national team by defeating them in a margin goal aggregates of 3 to 1 goal. Thanks to goals from Memphis depay , Delay Blind and Dumfries. 
The United States are officially out of this mega competition led by their captain who is the Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic. The USA had shown a fine form in the group stages but in the round of sixteen things have gone a stray.
The US finished the second from their group behind England who finished on the top of the group with seven points.
On the other side, the Netherlands had a fine form as they were the leaders of their group followed by Senegal. The two teams qualified after clinching the first and second position respectively.
