Kenya was posting dismal performance in Japan when the Tokyo Olympics were just kicking off.Fortunately, this week our country has restored it's glory in sports and has become more relevant in the world as far as this topic is concerned.
It is important to appreciate that women particularly have made us proud since they have put in a lot of effort which has been rewarded indeed.Yesterday our own Faith Kipyegon won the 1500 metres race.

As if not enough,on Saturday very early in the morning; that is in kenya's time it was jubilation all over as a dynamic duo has shown a thrilling performance.Peres Jepchirchir and Brigid Kosgei won gold and silver respectively in the Women's Marathon.
The results were as follows: 1.Peres ,2:27:20,Brigit 2:27:36 3.Molly Seidel of USA,2:27:46.Once again, congratulations to team Kenya and all the stakeholders, everyone is happy because of them.
