Manchester United were in action against Liverpool yesterday as they looked forward to grab their first win of the season following their poor start of the season where they had lost two consecutive matches.
Yesterday, they kicked off with a good momentum where they looked more threatening in the early minutes of the game. Antony Elanga almost put United ahead in the 10th minute before his effort were denied by the post.
In the 36th minute, Jadon Sancho open the scoring for Manchester United with a brilliant finish. Liverpool tried to pull one back but United defence looked strong.
In the second half, United continued with their good run where they ended up adding the second one in the 53rd minute through Rashford. Liverpool pulled on back in the 82nd minute but it was not enough to help them get a point.
United ended up winning all the three points after the final whistle which was the first Premier League win under Erik Ten Hag.
In that match, one of the United star who Impressed is Diego Dalot. Dalot displayed a good perfomance where he gave Liverpool striker Luiz Diaz no chance to unlock their defence. He blocked all means to prevent Diaz from scoring.
During their last friendly match against Liverpool where they won 4-0, Dalot was still the player who gave Diaz q headache. He continued with his impressive run against Liverpool where he displayed a goof perfomance yesterday.
This now means that Manchester United star Diego Dalot managed to silence Luiz Diaz in yesterday's match.
