Chelsea invested big in the 2023 January winter transfer window to bring in new signings who will help them perform well in the English Premier League 2022/2023 season.
Currently they are ninth with 30 points after playing 21 English Premier League matches this season. Bringing in Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez will help them move to the top 6.
Enzo Fernandez seems to be one of the key signings at the team. Being a central midfielder means that the Argentine midfielder will improve the creativity at the team.
There are three ways in which Chelsea could line up with Enzo Fernandez. The blues could play Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic as central Midfielders, Joao Felix/ Mason Mount as attacking midfielder, place Mudryk and Raheem Sterling/ Noni Madueke as wingers with Kai Havertz being the centre forward.
The second option could be placing N'golo Kante as the central defensive midfielder, Mason Mount and Enzo Fernandez as central midfielders, Mykhailo Mudryk and Hakim Ziyech as wingers then place Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang as the striker.
Using the 3-4-2-1 formation could also work quite well as Marc Cucurella and Reece James could play as wing backs, Enzo Fernandez and N'golo Kante as central midfielders, Joao Felix and Raheem Sterling as attacking midfielders with Kai Havertz being the centre forward.
Here is how the line ups look like.
