Chelsea have most of their players back in training as Veteran defender Thiago Silva, Christian Pulisic, Jorginho and Odoi are all back in training ahead if today's premier league match against West Bromwich Albion. This match doesn't worry Chelsea fans so much. What dies is the next fixture which will see them travel to Portugal to take on FC Porto in the first leg of champions league quarter finals.
Midfield maestro N'golo Kante suffered a hamstring injury in the latter stages of France's 1-1 draw with Ukraine last Wednesday. He was thereby withdrawn from France team and subsequently returned to Stamford Bridge to undergo treatment. Upon assessment Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has given an update on when to expect N'golo Kante back to the line up.
The manager was quoted say; 't's very likely it's too soon. He ( Kante) is doing individual training and from then on you can do the maths. Tomorrow he will miss the game and can't be in the squad. He has a little muscle injury, as was communicated from the national team. So my realistic approach is to think after Porto and to think about the second game against Porto." This is a huge blow to Chelsea. Kante is a three-in-one. A destroyer, a passer and a creator at the same time. We hope he returns early.
