Luiz Suarez was the talk of the night when he scored the second goal against his former club Barcelona, to make sure they go top of the table with 5 points difference. But what caught the eyes of many was his phone call goal celebration to Ronald Koeman , who sold him to Atletico Madrid having being told that he was not in his plans.
In September 2020: Ronald Koeman calls Suarez to tell hime he is not in his plans at Barcelona then Atletico Madrid went ahead and signed him. One year later Luiz Suarez adds another hammer on Ronald's men when they were defeated 2-0 , and the Suarez celebrates his goal with phone call reminding Koeman what he did a year ago.
Luiz felt so bad having being realsed , "When Barcelona told me that they did not count on me it was hard, I did not expect it," he told El Transitor. "They were very difficult moments because of the manner in which it happened.
He felt the reason why he was dropped out is because of his form , he wasn't performing and many clubs wanted him but a week later he signed a two year deal with Atletico Madrid and the rest is History.
After the strike against hims former club, now Luiz Suarez has scored against all the 31 laliga teams he has faced in his career.
Atletico went top of the table with an easy win against Barcelona who are currently struggling under Koeman , Lemar gave the home side a lead before Luiz Suarez adding the last nail to make it 2-0.
Since his arrival in Madrid, the experienced forward has been a huge success at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium and on Saturday night, in their La Liga clash against struggling Barcelona, the inevitable Suarez found the back of the net.
