Premier League

Fulham outshines Leicester City

Scott Parker's side won for just the second time in the league this season thanks to Lookman's 30th minute opener and Ivan Cavaleiro's penalty eight minutes later.

Fulham climbed out of the Premier League relegation zone on Monday after finally solving their penalty woes in a shock 2-1 win at Leicester.

The Cottagers opened the scoring on the half-hour mark with Ademola Lookman putting his penalty miss behind him courtesy of a composed finish.

Substitute Harvey Barnes pulled one back for Leicester with four minutes left to set up a nervy finish, but Fulham saw out a key win on a night where they paid tribute to the late Papa Bouba Diop.

It was a nervy finish, but Leicester could not find that last-gasp equaliser after substitute Harvey Barnes reduced the deficit with four minutes remaining.
