EPL: Bernardo Silva names teams that can challenge Arsenal for title

The star for Manchester City, Bernardo Silva, has named the sides who could contend with Arsenal for the Premier League crown this year.Currently, Arsenal is five points clear of Man City in second place in the Premier League standings.

Silva thinks teams like Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham, Man City, and Manchester United can contend with the Gunners for the Premier League championship ahead of Saturday night's Premier League match between Man City and Everton.

According to Bernardo, who was evaluating the teams that could still catch Arsenal, "anything can happen in this league."

"Since the takeover, Newcastle has done very well in the stock market. They have done an amazing job and are constructing a really good project. For some people, Arsenal might be a surprise, but not for me. A relatively youthful team that is also very, very excellent. We must pursue them because we are in their wake. It's a competitive league; they have a chance to win, but they also risk losing. This league is still very much active, and our circumstances are not ideal. However, we will continue to battle since we are a better squad than others.

Arsenal can make mistakes, he said, because even if they drop two points, they will still be competing with us and other teams.

But if we continue to lose ground, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Newcastle might overtake us. It won't be simple to catch up to Arsenal as they keep sprinting. No need to panic, but there is obviously drive and a lot of attention to keep them from getting further away from us. Some teams are already quite, quite far behind Arsenal. I'm not sure exactly how many points Liverpool is behind Arsenal, but I'd guess it's around 15. Although it is difficult, it is feasible to close the gap. United and Tottenham are then closer. It won't be simple for them either because Chelsea is far away.
