Being one of the top Swedish clubs alongside Malmo FF and Djurgarden IF, AIK Football is home to Kenya national team trio of Erick Ouma, Collins Sichenje and Henry Meja.Current reports indicate that the club has sacked their manager Bartosz Grzelak after a series of unsatisfying performances.
"AIK Footboll Board has decided after an extra board meeting today that Bartosz Grzelak will no longer lead the men's team.Henok Goitom will be appointed head coach for the rest of the 2022 season.Thank you Bartosz Grzelak for the promotion 2020, for the battle into the finish line 2021, for the derby victories and for the tireless commitment you have shown AIK Football," the club shared through their Facebook page.
