Chelsea are close to signing Leeds United Brazilian winger Raphinha as they have agreed on a fee, only waiting for the player to agree personal terms, according to reports. The Blues will pay around £60m with inclusion of add-ons if Raphinha says yes to their proposal.
Meanwhile, Sevilla center back Jules Kounde and Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly remains as Chelsea's top targets in the defence as they look to replace outgoing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. Raheem Sterling is another player on the list of Thomas Tuchel's targets as per the reports.
With these possible effective changes, let's now see how Chelsea could line up next season in a 3-4-3 formation;
The first choice goalkeeper could still remain to be Eduardo Mendy the way he has been starting since joining the club during the reign of Frank Lampard. His performance is also awesome and he could be the first priority in the goal post.
Mendy could be guarded by a three-man defence comprising Brazilian star Thiago Silva at the central center back, Kalidou Koulibaly on the left center back and finally Jules Kounde on the right center back. The three could form a strong backline for Chelsea.
In the midfield, Ngolo Kante could retain his position in the central midfield. He could possibly be joined by Mason Mount as Reece James and Ben Chilwell plays on the flanks as wing backs.
If Chelsea signs both Raphinha and Raheem Sterling, then the two could possibly link up with Germany star Kai Havertz to form an attacking trio upfront.
The possible line up and formation looks like the one below:
