The Football Kenya Federation recently released a letter that stated that the team that will be on top of the Kenya premier league table by 30th of June will be the one to represent Kenya in the CAF champions league next season after CAF suggested the dates as the deadline to every federation in submitting their clubs.
According with the current Kenya premier league table standings AFC Leopards has the best chance of being on the top of the table up to the given dateline hence represent Kenya in the competitions for the first time in a period of more than 20 years for the last time they did so was in 1998.
The club is in the second position with a total of 32 points which is 2 points behind Tusker though AFC Leopards have still one game on hand meaning if they win it they will go on the top of the table and be one point ahead of Tusker, the players have promised to remain focused.
