Serie A

11 Matches to Bank on This Wednesday

1. Brighton v Tottenham

Brighton have been struggling at present. Tottenham Hotspur have been improving a lot of late and played well at old Trafford last time and their more potent attack should see them win here in this match.

2. Juventus v Villarreal

Juventus haven’t lost at home since November last year, although they’ve been disappointing in the competition in the past few years they’ll come into this one on a high after comfortably brushing aside Sampdoria on Saturday. On a 12 match unbeaten streak I can’t see them losing this one.

3. Arsenal v Liverpool

Arsenal has won 10 drawn 2 and lost 2 of their 14 home league games played, and sit 4th in the Premiership with 51 points, winning their last league game played 2-0 at home against Leicester. Liverpool has won 9 drawn 3 and lost 2 of their 14 away league games played, and sit 2nd in the Premiership with 62 points, winning their last league game played 0-2 away against Brighton. Liverpool has already beaten Arsenal 0-2 in the League Cup and 4-0 at home this season. Both teams are in decent form with both teams winning 8 of their last 10 matches played. I am taking this match to end in a draw tonight.

4. Lille vs Chelsea

Chelsea have beaten the French side three times in row, and they are the better team here. They English side beat them in the first leg of the UCL. I believe they will win on the road here.

5. Adelaide United v Western Sydney Wanderers

I am going for the victory of the locals that come with a good level of play at home where they generate many scoring chances. This local comes with an excellent level on the other hand Western Sydney away from home does not come with such a good level. So I will go for it locals to win.

6. Nottm Forest v QPR

Forest's minds may be distracted by the mouth-watering FAC QF home tie against Liverpool. Forest have also suffered a double defensive with the loss of Steve Cook and Max Lowe. QPR bounced back from a poor recent away run of 3L in a row to win at another in-form side, Luton. Forest are yet to beat a side at home in the current top 11, 3D 5L and they have lost to the top three in the away standings, drawn with Sheff United (6th). QPR are ranked 5th.

7. Coventry v Hull

Hull are unbeaten in four away games to climb away from the relegation zone. Coventry are getting back to early season form and a home win will get them closer to the play offs.

8. Cremonese v Pordenone

Last season Cremonese showed character and defeated Pordenone 2-1 coming from behind and I see them grabbing all points again. The situation now is different as Cremonese are doing a lot better than Pordenone and are chasing promotion to Serie A. At the other end Pordenone are sitting at the foot of the table, 10 points from the play out sports and whole 18 points from safety. With automatic promotion spot on the cards for the Cremona side I can not see poor Pordenone causing an upset.

9. Cardiff v Stoke

Cardiff have only been beaten once in 5 home games with 2 wins and 2 draws. Stoke are winless in the last 5 away games but have drawn 4 of them and can get another point tonight.

10. Peterborough v Swansea

Swansea are in 16th and Peterborough are in 24th. Form swansea are the form team. Hesd to head Swansea are unbeaten in the previous 5 meetings.

11. Perugia v Spal

Home team are much higher in the league and have been playing well against some decent teams just lately. Today's opponent don't look any tougher so if Perugia can match that good recent form it should be enough to win this.
