Thomas Partey Honestly Rates His Arsenal Career On A Scale Of 1-10

Ever since the Gunners dramatically signed Thomas Partey from Athletico Madrid for 45 million pounds, the Ghanaian has not yet lived up to expectations at Arsenal. Partey has suffered numerous injury setbacks at which have ultimately affected his form. The 28-year-old put in an awful performance at Old Trafford and Goodison Park recently. Sloppiness in possession and poor decision making has become a habit in the midfielder's game.

Partey claimed that he has not yet gotten used to the premier league as one reason he is struggling. Yes, many players need time to adapt to a new league and completely different type of football but for Partey's case,14 months after being signed makes it no excuse.

Hearing the Arsenal midfielder rate his Arsenal career so far with a 4/10 is, in all honesty, an accurate mark given his performances. The good thing is that Partey knows where he stands and according to reports, he is taking extra sessions to work on his fitness and diet. Partey had this to say when asked by Sky Sports to rate himself: "I give myself 4/10 because there are moments I can hurt other teams but there are also other moments where I lose focus and everything goes down. This is when you realize you have to get better".
