Kenya Premier League Defending Champions, Gor Mahia Are Ready For Saturday's CAF Champions League Match Against CR Belouizdad.
Gor Mahia's match against CR Belouizdad was pushed from Wednesday 23rd December, 2020 to Staurday 26th December after Gor Mahia requested for more time to find an alternative of reaching Algeria due to the country's locked airspace (as a result of Covid-19).
The team that will play against the Algerian side left the country at 12:55 a.m EAT aboard Qatar Airways. Named in the travelling team is Gad Mathew, Philemon Otieno, Michael Apudo, Charles Momanyi, Juma Andrew, Ernest Wendo, Sydney Ochieng, Samuel Onyango, Tito Okello, Jules Ulimwengu, Geoffery Ochieng, Bonface Oluoch, Kevin Wesonga, Joachim Oluoch, Nicholas Omondi, Benson Omalla, Frank Odhiambo and Clifton Miheso.
The team arrived in Doha, Qatar earlier and boarded a flight to Algiers, Algeria. The trip from Doha to Algiers takes approximately 7 hours, thus Gor Mahia will land in Algeria at 4:00 p.m where they will rest before training a bit ahead of the 10:45 p.m EAT match.
