Germany Vs Iceland.
Germany will begin their 2022 World Cup qualification campaign when they host Iceland as the European qualification section kicks off all around Europe.
The Germans are the favourites to emerge winners of Group J which houses teams like Liechtenstein, Romania, Armenia and North Macedonia. But to get started, they have the small issue of Iceland to contend with. Although the former World Champions have not been able to match their own standards lately, they should still have enough to get their up and running.
Iceland have not won or drawn in their last five games and they have largely been a shadow of the team that storm the global stage only a few years ago. But they have another chance to earn a place at the World Cup after their maiden appearance at the 2018 World Cup. However, Germany will be too strong for them and we are backing the hosts to win with a handful of goals.
