Reasons why many football clubs sell football players in the same league as theirs

Every season transfers happen where some players leave for greener pastures and others due to contract expiry, many clubs hunt for top talents to help them win.

Clubs sell their players to local clubs because of many reasons:

It is easier to sell a player locally for all sides. (An English player is more likely to move to an English club than a Spanish club).

The club needs the money.

The club will spend the money on other players (Aston Villa Sold Grealish for 100m to Man City and bought Emiliano Buendia, Danny Ings, and Leon Bailey for 90m).

The player is not happy at the club or the club is not happy with the player, but the player wants to stay in the league.

Avoid any foreign league policies (Some leagues have policies and taxes for transfers, it is easier to stick in your own league so you don’t have to deal with foreign policies).
