Eddie Nketiah
It is believed that Eddie Nketiah has decided to play for the Ghanian National team , switching from the England National team following the approval of his parents and the Ghanian FA. Nketiah had been representing England since his Academy days at Arsenal and Chelsea but his agent has revealed to the media that the 22 year old has decided to switch sides and play for Ghana. Nketiah is half Ghanian since his mother is Ghanian while his father is of British descent.
Nketiah has now joined Callum Hudson Odoi who also recently changed his nationality to Ghanian and is in contention to play for the Black Stars in the upcoming World Cup competitions. Arsenal have backed Nketiah's decision and have said that they have no problem with the striker changing his nationality.
Martin Odegaard
Arsenal fans have been hyping Martin Odegaard as the standout in the Fernandes Vs Odegaard debate but according to me, the Norwegian has a long way to go if he is to reach Fernandes' level. To be fairly honest, I am an Arsenal fan but when it comes to comparing Fernandes to some attacking midfielders in the league, I can only say that Kevin De Bruyne is the only midfielder who is miles ahead of him. Martin Odegaard is a very talented and unique player and does a marvelous job both offensively and defensively but whatever Fernandes brings to the table for Manchester United is truly significant.
Even Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe when asked who he thought was the best midfielder in the league with regard to last season's perfomance, he didn't even hesitate a moment to acknowledge that it was Bruno Fernandes. Odegaard can reach and even surpass the level of Fernandes in the coming years because I know he has that potential but right now is just to early to be comparing him to other attackers.
Emile Smith Rowe
Emile Smith Rowe has already his reached his targeted number of goals this season (10) as he had earlier on promiseus the fans. Next season the fans will now be demanding 15 goals from him and the bars will be set even higher as he matures more into the team. Hopefully he will live up to all the expectations that have been set for him.
