Injury Fears Arise Over the Availability of Four Man City Star Players Ahead of UCL Final

Later this month, Chelsea will face Manchester City in the Champions League final. The blues advanced to the final after defeating Real Madrid earlier this month in the semi-finals.

Prior to the pivotal match, it was revealed that at least five Manchester City first team players are currently injured. Ilkay Gundogan, a Germany international, had to be replaced following his goal against Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday night.

Pep Guardiola disclosed following the game that he sustained an injury. Pep stated in an interview that "he was slightly injured, it was a kick, he started the second half with niggles in his muscles due to his inability to run properly."

Additionally, Man City revealed in an official club statement that other players such as Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker, and Sergio Aguero are currently ruled out of action.

Kevin De Bruyne of Belgium is the fifth Manchester City player who has yet to return from injury. He has made no appearances for Manchester City in the last two weeks.
