Newly promoted FKF Premier League side, Vihiga Bullets has appointed former Silibwet FC coach Evans Mafuta to replace Edward Manoah who resigned from the club after the end of last season. Evans Mafuta has previously coached Nairobi Stima and Bungoma Superstars.
Reports have it that the former Vihiga Bullets coach, Edward Manoah will sharpen National Super League side Migori Youth next season.
Vihiga Bullets were promoted to the FKFPL at the end of 2022/21 National Super League campaign after finishing in the second spot behind champions FC Talanta.
FC Talanta secured automatic promotion as NSL winners. Kenya Police will also feature in the top-tier league fee edging out Vihiga United 2-1 on aggregate in the FKF relegation/promotion playoff.
Vihiga Bullets made the announcement that coach Mafuta will be assisted by Veteran Tom Tera currently coaching Luanda Villa.
Vihiga Bullets will play against Bidco United on Saturday in their opening league match.
