Chelsea Star Confesses That He Feels Responsible For Frank Lampard's Sacking

Chelsea sacked Lampard halfway through the season after a poor form by whole team. It has remained hidden the main reason he was sacked. Some players have tried to open up but failed. Chelsea have however improved under New manager Thomas Tuchel. They are unbeaten since his takeover. Marcos Alonso, Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho are finally getting more playing time. Some record signings have been sent to the bench. Ben Chilwell, Kai Harverz and Hakim Ziyech are all struggling to get minutes.

Chelsea striker Timo Werner has not lived up to expectations. He came as a prolific striker but currently cannot find the net easily. He was interviewed by SkySports journalists. He has opened up about the guilt of Lampard sacking. He reported " I think if I would have scored four to five goals more, the older manager Frank will be here. I failed to convert the opportunities I was created. I feel guilty that I let him down. I also feel that I should have done better this season if I scored all the misses chances. I am now under a new manager and trying to work even harder. I trust that I will reach the turning point of scoring goals."

The Germany star has scored 5 Premier League goals and 5 Premier League assists. He wants however to keep pushing until he improves. Many football fans have praised him because of his mentality. Even pundits think that he will get there.
