Finally, Chelsea joins the tight race to sign Manchester United target player

The short transfer window is looming around with only eight days left for the re-opening and teams are already getting ready to add new faces into their squad.Premier league side Chelsea were the big spenders during the summer transfer window,but Lampard's side are even willing to dig deeper into their pockets to add two more players into their current developing squad,to help boost their chances of contending for the premier League title.

According to Sky sports journalist Angelo Mangiante,Chelsea have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star striker Erling Braut Haaland,who is also a top target for premier League giants Manchester United and city.Chelsea are now considering Erland as their top priority together with West Ham midfielder Declan Rice. The golden boy (Haaland) has scored a remarkable 23 goals in his 23 appearances for the Bundesliga side Borrusia Dortmund, and he is currently nursing an injury, which may keep him out until January.

The Blues have prepared a clear cut with seven players being sidelined including, Antonio Rudiger,Ross Barkley, Danny Drinkwater, Andreas Christiansen, Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso.
