MUN 1-2 BRI: How Ronaldo Reacted After Man Utd Lost To Brighton At Old Trafford

Premier league giants Manchester United produced an awful performance infront of their full supporters at Old Trafford in their opening match of the English Premier League against Brighton and Hove Albion. The Red Devils manager, Erik Ten Hag benched Cristiano Ronaldo in their encounter as Manchester United started brightly in the opening minutes of the encounter, as Marcus Rashford shot was handled brilliantly by Roberto Martinez, who was in goal for Brighton and Hove Albion.

However, the Seagulls broke the deadlock in the 30th minute as Pascal Gross fired a brilliant shot past David De Gea thanks to a fine assist from former Manchester United star forward Danny Welbeck. It was during this time that 37 year old Portuguese international skipper Cristiano Ronaldo was captured shaking his head, after Manchester United conceded Brighton's opening goal in the match.

The five time Balon d'OR winner wasn't in the starting lineup today and am sure Erik Ten Hag wasn't happy about what he did, after Manchester United conceded. Brighton would then extend their lead after six minutes courtesy of another brilliant strike from Pascal Gross. While United had their consolation goal in the second period thanks to an own goal by Brighton's Defender.

Do you think it was right for Cristiano Ronaldo to react like this, after Manchester United conceded?
