Totenham had invited Manchester united yesterday as they hoped to slow down their pace after an impressive performance in the recent matches. A win for Manchester would have taken them 7 points clear ahead of third place Leicester city who were beaten by Westham earlier 3-2
In that match, man United started with the best squad as they all hope to get their 6-1 revenge of firts leg this season. Both teams started with a high pace as they all looked forward to open the scoring. Cavani scored but it was ruled out after VAR check where it was seen that Tomminay had fouled Son earlier.
Totenham opened the scoring through Son a few minutes later to put his side up front. Man United answered in the second half after Fred equalized. Cavani's great header made sure Manchester United were in front before Greenwood sealed the win in the added minutes.
In that match Tottenham had marked some of man United great players which include Rashford and Bruno. They knew they are one of the best players in the premier league and this made them to keep the off their territory.
One of Tottenham player who made that happen is Regulion after he managed to stop both Rashford and Bruno Fernandez yesterday. He blocked all their key passes and shots to prevent them from finding the back if their net.
Unfortunately man United used other players to find the back of the net. They used Fred, Greenwood and Cavani to find the back of the net. Fernandez and Rashford were unable to score due to the presence of Regulion in Tottenham squad who managed to silence them through that match.
