Arsenal Forced Back To The Drawing Board After Latest Transfer Development

Premier league giants Arsenal will be forced back to the drawing board after it emerged that their top transfer target Aachraf Hakimi has no intention of ditching italian side Inter Milan for the gunners.

The Morocco international has reiterated his desire to continue playing under Antonio Conte which means Arsenal will have to explore for other alternatives in the transfer market in the summer.

The gunners have further been rocked by Fabrizio Romano's confirmation that their longest serving player in Hector Bellerin will certainly be leaving the club in the summer after falling down the pecking order at the club.

"Arsenal will sign a new RB but have never opened official talks for Hakimi as of today.Lamptey is not on top of the list. Bellerin’s gonna leave the club."Romano tweeted.

Bellerin is wanted by Paris Saint Germain,Barcelona and Juventus and his expected departure for an estimated £30m should be able to fund a move for an able replacement.

It had been thought that Brighton's Tariq Lamptey was a top target but the latest development indicate the former Chelsea player is not on top of the transfer list for Mikel Arteta who has deployed Calum Chambers at right back in recent games.
