Kenya Wins First Gold and Silver

Kenya has now being relieved in the 800m men, when their favourites delivered.Emmanuel korir finished 1st to come out with first kenyan Gold and his counterpart Ferguson finished second to win silver

After women struggled in 3000 steeplechase earlier on kenyans managed to celebrate their first gold in 800m when two kenyans finished ahead of polish Patrick

Ferguson Rotich who was the favourite to win the gold sprinted from fifth to surprise an Australian and the polish.

Kenya has now delivered three medals today,which is gold from Emmanuel korir,silver from Ferguson Rotich and Bronze from Hyvin Kiyeng.

The David Rudisha and Kenya's pride in 800m at london and Rio, has now being preserved and kenyans now smile again in Tokyo 2020 olympics,after missing on the podium for gold and now we can witness our national anthem sung in Tokyo while kenyans regains 800m gold for the third consecutive time.

Kenyans hoped their heroes will get the job done today and we appreciate the efforts of our athletes though it wasn't quite what we expected ,because we believe we should have achieved more than we have but still our pride runs and we continue to make a statement to the world.
