As the Africa Cup on Nation continues in Cameroon, much have been witnessed where teams that everyone thought that will shock the world failing to meet the expectation of the fans. However, the incidence that has become the talk of the day is the decisions of the CAF to give the Rwanda female referee Salima Mukasanga an opportunity to officiate group B Match between Zimbabwe and Guinea. Mukasanga becomes the first African female coach to officiate a high caliber match as a centre referee.
The match witnessed a lot of pressure with Zimbabwe giving the West African giant Guinea very hard time. Afcon has witnessed a mixed results where teams like Egypt, Senegal and the defending champions like Algeria failing to impress as expected. Currently the teams are in their last group matches and in several group it's the last match that will determine as the underdogs like Comoros are really frustrating the giants.
Mukasanga will go in books of history for he exemplary work in the encounter where Zimbabwe ended by defeating Guinea at 2-1.
