Chelsea are eager to add to their squad after a disappointing season. The Blues have already signed Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana, and Joao Felix on loan, and they are now closing in on a deal for Shaktar Donistek winger Mykhylo Mudryk.
Chelsea have agreed to terms with Shakhtar Donetsk for Mudryk, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. After the mission, the parties agreed on a fee of €100 million. Mykhaylo Mudryk will fly to London in the next few hours; he will be in the UK tonight to discuss the details and get medically prepared.
The Blues are now pushing for a long-term agreement to finalize personal terms following full agreement on the €100 million fee.
The forward has been a major target for Arsenal since the summer, but the Gunners fell short of the Ukrainian club's high valuation. Arsenal's most recent bid, submitted on Thursday, was €95 million plus add-ons.
