Wigan vs Sheffield United
Sheffield United will be looking to keep their hopes of a return to the Premier League next season alive when they face Wigan Athletic on Monday night.
The visitors are currently just three points behind league leaders and go into this game full of confidence, having won each of their last six league games. Backed by a 5-2 win over Vincent Kompany's Burnley and a 3-0 win over third-placed Blackburn Rovers, the Blades have had a fantastic season so far and are therefore favourites to win Monday’s game.
They face a side who have struggled of late and currently sit 22nd in the standings. Wigan returned to the second division with a strong early form, but have since not had things going their way. They have picked up just one win from their last nine games and considering they have been victorious only twice at this ground this season, a home win should be out of the question.
Wigan Athletic have won just one of their last four home games, while three have ended in defeat. They face a Sheffield United side who have won their last three away games by a total of 4-0.
The hosts have serious defensive problems, having gone without a clean sheet in each of their last nine league games, so we expect the Blades to win and also keep what would be their fourth successive clean sheet in the league
