GENOA V SPEZIA
Spezia scored from their only shot of the game to secure a very fortunate 1-1 draw with leaders Inter in midweek.
Both sides are locked on 33 points and need a win to increase their advantage on Cagliari, who start the weekend in 18th and five points behind.
Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals
PORTSMOUTH V BRISTOL ROVERS
Portsmouth are approaching the point of no return in their fight for the top-six, meaning three points here is a must. Pompey are just one point behind the playoffs, but have collected just one point from their previous four League One matches and cannot afford anything less than a victory here.
And Danny Cowley's team will be expected to do exactly that against a Bristol Rovers outfit that are all-but relegated following their midweek defeat to MK Dons. Anything less than a win here will see the Gas officially return to League Two.
Prediction: Portsmouth win
TRABZONSPOR V KARAGUMRUK
Trabzonspor drew with Galatasaray last time out. They were very close to victory but were undone by a stoppage time goal. As expected, Avci's side reduced the tempo, defended aggressively all over the pitch, and didn't allow space to their opponents. They will the same, slow build-up football against Karagumruk, and Avci will hope his talented players create enough chances against Karagumruk's make-shift defence.
Karagumruk managed to hold Goztepe to a draw last time out. This was a remarkable result as they had lost 14 of their players to COVID-19. They fought extremely hard and deserved the point. But, they looked exhausted at the end, and with so many key players expected to miss this game dues to illness, this is going to be a difficult 90 minutes for them.
Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals
