Chelsea is among the big clubs linked with so many transfers but they have not announced any yet. The blues manager want to bring in some new faces who could improve the team further and help them to close the gap with the premier league leaders Manchester City. According to reports from France Chelsea have been given a chance to secure the signature of Paris Saint Germain player.
Paris Saint Germain has made it clear that Kurzawa will be leaving in this January transfer window and have contacted Chelsea to buy the player. The blues manager Thomas Tuchel want a defender who would replace the injured Chilwell. And it appears Chelsea might instead target a loan replacement for Chilwell, rather than a permanent transfer. The England ace had returned to his best form after being omitted early in the season following his miserable Euro 2020.
Thomas Tuchel could be forced to bring in Kurzawa though he did not value him while he was the manager at Paris. The blues seems to have given up on premier league title with the Cityzens widening the gap everyday. The depth and quality will help the London club to finish among top four. Chelsea want Kurzawa to be announced as first signing as soon as possible.
Other clubs including Newcastle United are monitoring the situation of the 29 year-old. His contract will be expiring at the end of the season and the French Ligue 1 giants want to get something profitable out of him before he goes valueless. Tuchel believe that bringing in quality players and being free from injuries can help the club to lift at least one trophy this season.
